The country case studies show the purpose of highlighting how several countries have addressed the challenge of implementing either aspects or complete elements of the transition towards a green and sustainable financial system. It is unlikely that they can simply be copied over into the Armenian context without needing to be amended. Nevertheless, it is hoped that they provide inspiration for those governments including the regulator, and the private sector to develop approaches to implement these elements in Armenia in a way that reflects the specific national circumstances.
Of particular interest in this regard is the relatively small, but wide ranging, introduction of article 173 in France set out below. Furthermore, the development of a more comprehensive approach towards a transition to a green and sustainable financial system in Mongolia provides a road map that may be very applicable in the Armenian context and should be studied with great care.
